Resuscitation is the action or an instance of reviving someone from apparent death or from unconsciousness. Defibrillator is a medical device that delivers an electric shock to restore a normal heart rhythm to a heart which has lost the ability to pump blood due to convulsions (ventricular Fibrillation).
